About Us

Paul and Jessica Do both grew up in Mobile, Alabama in a world of diverse cultures and flavors that destined them to be in the food industry. Paul’s family has been involved in the seafood business for his entire life, with several family members living in Bayou La Batre, Alabama, the shrimp capital of the world. Jessica grew up in the kitchen with her mother, where she has fond memories of learning family recipes and peeling shrimp. They both worked in restaurants when they were younger, which is eventually where they met. Their love for food led them to move to Montgomery to open their own restaurant. In 2012, they opened in a gas station on Woodmere Boulevard. As the business grew, they decided they needed a larger location with a bigger kitchen and more dining room space, so they moved to their current location in May 2018. Paul is typically in the front of the restaurant, greeting and taking care of customers, while Jessica is typically “behind the scenes” in the kitchen ensuring that every item served is exactly the way she wants it.
